Fees
Charges for office visits and surgery are determined by the time spent, and will vary with the severity or complexity of the problem. The fees are competitive with other are urology specialists, and in the case of Medicare, these are set and established by the state and federal governments. Please do not hesitate to ask questions as policies vary between insurance companies. We are concerned with the cost of medical care, and we appreciate your suggestions.
Billing and Insurance
We prefer not to send bills because the cost of paperwork and postage affects our fees. We will file insurance on surgical procedures, hospital stays, some office procedures and the office visits. Insurance deductibles and office co-pays should be paid at the time of service. You may use cash, check, Master Card or Visa for payment. If you need to arrange a payment plan, we will assist you. If your insurance plan pays you directly, please know that payment may take up to two months.
We will be happy to help you complete your forms, but you should direct any questions or complaints regarding your coverage to your insurance carrier. Please keep in mind that your selection of an insurance provider is a direct contract between you and the insurance provider. Final decisions for coverage and reimbursement rest with your insurance provider.
